Biography: Marilee will be taking a leave of absence from her duties as President of eDrake Real Estate beginning April 12th. She will be training for active duty in the US Army. We are very proud of her and wish her the very best, eDrake is a proud supporter of all the men and women serving in the US Armed Forces!

I was born in San Diego, California, and lived in several states including: Michigan, Illinois, Arkansas, Nebraska, Louisiana and Arizona. Why so many places? My father was a Jockey and rode racehorses throughout the country. As a child, I gained so many different experiences and have lived in some very fascinating places which have helped me become successful in the real estate industry.

In college, I attended the University of Arizona in Tucson and graduated with a degree in Race Track Management. Racing, once again, gave me the opportunity to travel the world to places like Sydney, Australia; Portland, Oregon and Lexington, Kentucky.

Eventually, I ended up in Connecticut in 1995 and left the Racing world. By 1998, my career had shifted to MicroWarehouse, Inc., a worldwide computer reseller of hardware and software computer products. I was responsible for the advertising activities within our catalogs for Blue Chip companies such as IBM, Sony, Apple, Adobe, Intel, Epson and many others. This experience greatly enhanced my technology and computer skills which are so important in real estate.

One of the most exciting opportunities I have had with real estate is filming an episode of the hit reality show, House Hunters. It has appeared on HGTV throughout 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010.
